Policy & Strategy Development

We have extensive experience in the development of policy in a wide range of subject matter, and for a diverse range of clients.

We have worked with national organisations (such as Sport England), and local authorities in developing strategy and policy in respect of leisure and community services including sport, art, youth services, play and other cultural services.

We have undertaken service reviews and suggested ways of refining and re-orientating service delivery via local authority Best Value reviews, and sport and active recreation strategies. We have advised on strategic approaches to developing and managing leisure facilities, and appropriate mechanisms for co-coordinating the efforts of public, private and voluntary sectors in the provision of local leisure opportunities.

We have helped local leisure organisations develop and refine their own aims and objectives in order to maximise the prospects of securing external funding.

Members of out team have collective experience in developing policy and strategy on diverse themes, including arts, youth services, play, sports (various), water recreation etc.
