We provide a full Play Strategy service including technical play space audits (with site specific quality assessments); play service audits; child/youth consultation and community engagement exercises; policy development; strategic gap analyses; and detailed action planning. We are specialists in developing local standards for play in relation to spatial planning

We also undertake research, evaluation, feasibility studies and play training services. We have a particular interest in helping clients improve the quality of play space design, developing natural and wild play and highlighting the value of providing risk and challenge in play opportunities

We were commissioned by the Children's Play Council on work towards the successful BIG Lottery bid that resulted in the creation of Play England. We have also drafted national guidance documents including Planning for Play and Better Places to Play through Planning. Our play specialist Paul Greatorex has been a strategic enabler for Play England in the North West for 5 years; and over the same period we have drafted 7 local Play strategies across the country from Eden District in Cumbria to Peterborough
